OUR BACKGROUND

Welcome to Pineapple Health Bar, a vibrant celebration of the incredible natural treasures that Haiti has to offer! This exciting journey began during my travels back and forth to Haiti and never bringing enough soap, lotions and other basic essentials. Trying to find local organic soaps, lotion prove to be impossible. Many merchants were selling imported soaps, lotion, shampoo and other health and beauty products; things I normally would not buy in stores while living in New York City, let alone buy them from street merchants back home in Haiti. After encountering the frustrating challenge of finding high-quality, organic health and beauty products. This experience opened our eyes to the significant reliance on imported goods, which sparked my determination to make a change. I am a strong believer in the quality of Haiti's minerally rich soil. It saddens me to learn that not only were the Haitian people not educated about the richness below their feet, but they weren’t taking advantage of all the natural resources available to become creators and importer of their own. We are genuinely passionate about empowering local creators to tap into the abundant rich resources that Haiti possesses. Join in this exciting movement as we embrace the vibrant craftsmanship of our homeland and invite you to the beauty that comes from within the Haitian community!
